Tasks and activities

In the field of systems engineering, industrial engineers assemble components into assembly groups and the latter into machines. They process the components with machines or manually and, if necessary, produce them. They inspect assembly groups directly upon completion and the assembled machines on test beds with respect to function and put them into operation thereafter. In addition, they conduct regular inspections and maintenance on the machines.

An overview of the training 

Industrial engineer is a recognized profession that requires training consistent with German law as it pertains to professional training (BBiG). It is assigned to the field of metal engineering with a focus on production and metal cutting manufacturing methods.

The training has a term of 3 ½ years.
